What you need to know

Journey Details: 06/27/26 – 07/04/26

You have 185 hours to travel from the Red Ball Garage to the Portofino and up to Modesto, California, covering approximately 3,100 miles. Within this timeframe, you must complete the following tasks:

1. Track Visits:
   • turn in six 6 full 1/8-mile passes with video verification and time stamps from:
   • a minimum of 4 different tracks in 3 Different states of your choosing.
   • Plan your route now, considering test and tune schedules or events at tracks along the way. (Logistics will be managed between you and your co-pilots.)
2. Checkpoints:
   • Select a different checkpoint in each state you travel through, with picture proof. These can include:
     • National monuments
     • Historic automobile stops or shops
     • Current speed shops
     • Unique attractions (e.g., the world’s largest ball of twine, or a strip club in every state, make it fun! That’s why we are doing this)
3. Souvenir:
   • In each state, or at each stop, collect a trinket or souvenir to signify your visit. Examples include:
     • A hat from Uranus Fudge Factory
     • State magnets
     • License plates (purchased or found)
4. Driving Requirement:
   • You must drive your car the entire way!

Classes will be the most consistent in the following categories.

5.0-5.99- $200 Summit Racing Gift Cert

6.0-6.99- $200 Summit Racing Gift Cert

7.0-7.99- $200 Summit Racing Gift Cert

8.0-8.99- $200 Summit Racing Gift Cert

9.0-9.99- $200 Summit Racing Gift Cert

10.0-open- $200 Summit Racing Gift Cert

*If you turn in a slip faster than the bracket you you run in, you will be bumped to the faster bracket.

There will be awards for each category bracket as well as awards for:

-Fastest Overall Average- $500 Summit Cert

-Most Consistent Car- $500 Summit Cert

-Fastest single Pass $300-Summit cert

-Slowest Average

-The Detourist
